1. This offer is only available to new residents (not currently residing in an Anglicare retirement village):
(a) that enter into a retirement village contract for premises at select Anglicare Retirement Villages, being Mowll Village - Castle Hill, Warrina Village - Castle Hill, Glenhaven Green, The Ponds Village and Woolooware Shores;
(b) that pay their deposit for the premises between 4 April 2025 and 30 June 2025 and execute the retirement village contract by 30 September 2025;
(c) that move into their premises and pay the full ingoing contribution under the retirement village contract between 1 April 2025 and 30 September 2025, provided that if the residents have entered into an unconditional contract to sell their home to fund payment of the ingoing contribution and the residents contribute an additional 10% deposit to the ingoing contribution, Anglicare will provide the residents an additional 3 months from the date they move into the premises to pay the ingoing contribution in full; and
(d) where one or more of the residents have not previously used this offer.
2. Subject to item 1, Anglicare will contribute up to $10,000 including GST (Contribution) towards the actual costs incurred by the residents in the engagement of Serendipity Moves, Messy No More or such other service provider approved by Anglicare in writing (Service Provider) to provide the downsizing services referred to in this offer (Downsizing Services).
3. Once the conditions in item 1 have been satisfied, Anglicare will pay the Contribution towards the Downsizing Services directly to the Service Provider within 30 days of the residents providing Anglicare with a valid tax invoice for the Downsizing Services. For clarity, Anglicare will not pay the Contribution unless and until the conditions in item 1 have been satisfied and the resident is otherwise responsible for any costs incurred in relation to the Downsizing Services.
4. Any amount that the residents incur in excess of the Contribution for the Downsizing Services will be payable by the residents directly to the Service Provider.
5. The total Contribution is capped at $10,000 including GST notwithstanding the number of residents moving into the premises. For clarity, the contribution is capped at $10,000 regardless of whether there are 1 or more residents named in the retirement village contract.
6. The Downsizing Services are provided by the Service Provider, who is a third-party service provider. Anglicare will refer the residents to the Service Provider.
7. The residents will engage the Service Provider to provide the Downsizing Services at their own risk. Anglicare accepts no liability for any claims, loss, damage, cost or expense arising in relation to or in connection with the residents obtaining the Downsizing Services from the Service Provider.
8. Subject to item 9, the Downsizing Services will be made available to the residents post the successful completion of the Village Manager Interview.
9. Only the initial consultation with the Service Provider can be made prior to Anglicare advising the residents that their application has been accepted (which is at Anglicare’s discretion) and the Interview Form has been completed and returned. Anglicare will subsequently advise the residents when the balance of the Downsizing Services will be made available.
10. If the residents vacate the premises within 6 months of entering the premises, the Contribution will be deducted from the refund owing to the residents of their ingoing contribution (reducing the residents exit entitlement). The Contribution will be deducted notwithstanding any other offer that applies to the residents, including without limitation any 6-month money back guarantee.
