Today, the Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) will commence publishing gender pay gap data for all Australian employers with 100 or more employees.
Anglicare Sydney’s median base salary gender pay gap is 2.2% for the reporting period 2022-23, compared to the industry gap of 4.9%, and national result of 14.5%.
Anglicare welcomes the transparency of this reporting to improve accountability and motivate action by employers to accelerate progress on gender equity and improve the experience of women in workplaces.

Closing the gender pay gap reflects Anglicare’s value of all people made in the image of the living God, with full equality of men and women in Creation and Redemption, according to Genesis 1:26–28, 2:23, 5:1–2; 1 Corinthians 11:11–12; Galatians 3:13, 3:28, 5:1.
