Applying for your home care funding
To be eligible for government funding you need to be at least 65 years of age; over 50 and Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander; or over 50 on a low income, homeless or at risk of homelessness.

Learn more about Home Care Packages and the services available to see if they’re the right fit for your needs and lifestyle.
Step 2
Contact My Aged Care to determine your eligibility and book your Home Care services assessment.
Step 3
Your assessment will either take place over the phone or in your home. My Aged Care will consider your unique situation, identify your specific care needs and determine your eligibility for funding.
Step 4
If you are approved for funding, the level or amount of funding you receive is determined by My Aged Care assessment, based on your specific care needs.
Step 5
