Fees and payments

The price selection below is the accommodation payment, also known as the Refundable Accommodation Deposit (RAD). The accommodation payment can be made in a few different ways, either as:

  1. An upfront lump sum payment of the RAD (which is 100% refundable on your departure)
  2.  A fortnightly Daily Accommodation Payment (DAP) is calculated on the price of the room and any unpaid RAD and at the current MPIR (Government determined interest rate)
  3.  A combination of both, with a partial RAD payment and the balance paid as a DAP. The higher the RAD amount you contribute, the lower your monthly DAP will be and vice versa.

To better understand how this works for you with your particular finances, this RAD/DAP fee estimator may help. To assist you in making the best decision based on your particular finances, we recommend seeking financial advice from an Accredited Aged Care Financial Advisor.
