Meal Support

Whether you need an extra pair of hands in the kitchen or someone to prepare your whole meal.

Housework

The help you need around your home – dusting, vacuuming, changing bed linen, laundry and other day-to-day tasks.

Health care at home

Nursing and allied health services like physio, exercise physiology, occupational therapy and podiatry… all in the comfort of your own home!

Home modification

Get help making modifications to your home that will help you remain independent and also keep you safe.

Shopping Assitance

Our carers can accompany you to the shops and take the hassle out of doing the groceries… or send then alone with a list!

Getting out and about

We can drive you to your medical appointments or simply give you a ride to meet friends.

Respite and social support

Fun activities and special outings or a care worker can even just pop around for a cuppa and a chat.

Care and safety products

Purchase or lease walking aids, personal alarams, motorised scooters, continence aids, health supplements and more.

Spiritual care

Our pastoral care service is totally free, no matter your religion or background. Share your joys, sit with in sorrow (and everything in between) – we’d love to be there for you.

How are the Anglicare at Home services paid for?

We give our residents a number of different options for how they pay for Anglicare at Home services. Our onsite Wellness Coordinator can talk you through the choices, so you can decide what’s right for you. Here are some key facts.

Home Care Package (HCP)

Under the new aged care reforms, the Australian Government has decided that everyone should contribute to the cost of their care if they’re able. If you receive a part-pension or are a self-funded retiree, you may need to pay an Income-Tested Care Fee determined by Centrelink. If you receive a full pension and if all your required services are covered by the Home Care Package subsidy, you may not need to pay anything.

Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP)

Under the new aged care reforms, the Australian Government has decided that everyone should contribute to the cost of their care if they’re able. A small portion of the hourly rate is charged to you and the larger portion is subsidised through the CHSP. In cases of financial hardship, the service fee can be reduced to ensure anyone who needs support can access it.

Privately funded service

Cover the cost yourself and get started straight away! Privately funded services do not require any government assistance and are not eligible for any government subsidy. Instead, you cover the full cost of your care.

If you have private health insurance, you may be able to claim a rebate on certain services. Please check with your health insurer to find out if a service is eligible.
