Support Our Chaplaincy Program

At Anglicare, our chaplaincy services are a lifeline for many, providing essential spiritual and emotional support across various settings.

Our dedicated chaplains and pastoral carers work tirelessly to offer hope and comfort to those in need, making a profound difference in their lives.

AJ’s story is a powerful testament to the transformative impact of chaplaincy.

Growing up in an environment filled with addiction and violence, AJ's path led him to prison. But it was there, in the darkest of places, that he found the light of Christ through the ministry of a chaplain.

As AJ puts it, “In prison, a chaplain is the beacon of light.”

Chaplains like Wally bring hope and healing to inmates like AJ, who often feel abandoned by the world.

Their work is inspired by Jesus' words: “I was in prison and you came to me” (Matthew 25:36).

They remind inmates that they are not forgotten by God or by us. AJ’s encounter with Wally was life-changing.

Wally not only provided spiritual guidance but also supported AJ’s dream of becoming a pastor.

Through Wally’s mentorship and advocacy, AJ was able to enrol in Bible College and pursue a new path filled with hope and purpose.

Your support for Anglicare’s chaplaincy program can help us continue to provide this vital ministry. Your donation ensures that our chaplains can be present in the right place at the right time, offering hope and guidance to those often feel vulnerable and alone. By supporting our chaplaincy services, you are helping to transform lives and bring the love of God to the forgotten corners of our society.
