Community Care Project with Lightning Ridge Community Church

Anglicare is partnering with Lightning Ridge Community Church to support the local community of the Ridge through the Community Kitchen food and fellowship ministry.

Lightning Ridge is known to be the place you go when you want to "get away". As a result, there are many in the Ridge who live socially isolated and disconnected lives. Real community and connectedness is rare.

Lightning Ridge Community Kitchen helps bring our community together for support, friendship, training etc... and is a doorway to real life and community in Christ.

The Community Kitchen provides a safe space for people to come and share a meal together whist experiencing love and relationship. It is also a place where they can share their story and connect with other services.

Please pray for the ministry of Lightning Ridge Community Kitchen that Jesus' love will be made known and experienced through this valuable ministry.
