One4Life Redfern
The One4Life program supports people living in the Redfern/Waterloo areas as they strive for better living habits by establishing healthy, positive relationships in a loving environment
Anglicare partners with South Sydney Anglican Church (also known as one1seven church) to share the love of Christ in action to locals who are struggling with life.
The One4Life Program activities include:
- One4Food (Community Pantry and free Friday meal)
- Overcomers Outreach (supporting people to address addictions)
- Christian Support Group
- ESL classes
- General Pastoral Care
There are approximately 5,000 Government housing properties in the immediate Redfern-Waterloo area. Your gifts to One4Life will enable the program to provide support to people through the activities outlined above.
Key Facts:
- 100+ people receive grocery packages from One4Life every week
- 40% of people living in the concentrated housing area where One4Life serves are categorised as Disadvantaged Support Pension, which means they are either unfit or unable to work
- 5000 Government housing properties in the immediate Redfern-Waterloo area
