Starting over can be hard… and it’s especially hard in a new country, without your usual supports on hand. 

Feeling alone or unseen can take a toll. That’s why Anglicare provides community living supports for refugees and asylum seekers who are struggling with their mental health. 

This service is available in western Sydney

Find support from other services

Anglicare’s compassionate staff will work with you and your family as you heal from trauma or other mental health challenges and settle into daily life in your new home. Practical supports you could receive to help your personal recovery journey include:

  • help with everyday life tasks like shopping, transport, cleaning, medication management and support during medical appointments
  • help finding accommodation for you and your family
  • help finding employment
  • support to connect with your community and meet others so you no longer feel alone.

Anglicare has offices based in Parramatta and Mount Druitt… but our friendly team is happy to meet with you wherever you feel most comfortable!
